Mollugo verticillata

Carpetweed or Indian chickweed (Mollugo verticillata) is landscape weed found throughout most of North America and the globe. Carpetwed grows in mat-forming, ground-hugging patterns, with plants often found growing in groups in hot, exposed areas. This plant is known for its quick growth, growing in one or two foot patches and rapidly expanding, covering natural areas, pots and landscape beds.
