Melothria pendula
Creeping wild cucumber (Melothria pendula) is a native Florida landscape weed. This vine "creeps" across the forest floor and forms mats, commonly in shady hammocks and shaded areas throughout much of Florida. It's name comes from the plant's distinct 0.75 to 1-inch cucumbers that form when flowers are pollinated.
