    Eclipta prostrata

Eclipta (Eclipta prostrata) is a landscape weed thought to originate from Asia, but has naturalized around the world and is widely distributed throughout the United States. This weed naturally occurs in moist, distrubed areas from spring to fall but can often be found in drain holes of containers or near irrigation risers. Eclipta grows aggressively in containers and can outcompete nursery crops for water, nutrients, and light.
