    Drymaria cordata

    West Indian chickweed (Drymaria cordata) is a landscape weed indigenous to the tropical Americas. It is considered highly invasive and a serious weed for more than 31 crops in more than 45 countries. This weed is weak-stemmed, breaking easily and effortlessly spreading to other areas. Seeds and fruit will stick to clothing, shoes, pets and other items from the yard. Leaves are edible and can be used as a garnish or in salads. This weed prefers moist areas and can be found in areas with drainage issues.
