    Lilac tasselflower (Emilia sonchifolia) is a non-native landscape weed with unknown origins. There is dispute among authors regarding native status in Florida. Currently considered a native in tropical Asia, this species has a pantropical distribution and has naturalized throughout Africa, the Americas, and the Pacific.
