The following photographs are of a NEW APHID pest that was recently found in Florida.  At this time, I don't know much more than that. I am sure additional information well be available soon from the Florida Dept. of Agriculture & Consumer Services, Division of Plant Industry

This aphid is:

Greenidea ficicola Takahashi
Family Aphididae
an exotic aphid from Asia, found in Florida on Ficus sp. in March 2003
This aphid is know to me a minor pest of Guava in Asia, Africa, and Australia.
