Geomatics at MREC
The University of Florida offers a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Geomatics at the UF/IFAS Mid-Florida Research and Education Center. If you're a prospective student, we encourage you to learn about the opportunities available. This program leads to diverse, well-paying career opportunities, and we have a number of scholarships and internships available. Geomatics covers land surveying, GIS, GPS, mapping, cadastral principles, remote sensing, photogrammetry and more.
Our program serves students in the Orlando area, including Orange, Seminole, Lake, Osceola, Volusia, Brevard, Marion, Indian River and Sumter counties. Distance education and certificates at the undergraduate/graduate levels are also available.
