Welcome to the Landscape Management Program at
Mid-Florida Research and Education Center in Apopka, FL

The Courses Listed Below are Taught Onsite:

Residential Landscape Design (ORH3813C)

Residential landscape design is a basic course in the theory and implementation of simple landscape plans.

Turfgrass and Landscape Management (ORH4236C )

Principles and practices of landscape installation and management with emphasis on arboriculture.

Landscape Plant Establishment (ORH4848C)

An in depth study of plant selection, purchase, installation, and immediate post transplant care as it relates to the site and construction activities.

Practical Applications in Landscape Installation (ORH4932)

This special topics course will provide practical experience in the selection, installation and cost estimation of hardscape elements including irrigation, walkways and garden structures.
